PROFESSOR JOSEPH ANTHONY O. WOODS

Joseph Anthony O. Woods is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Ibadan, Ibadan. He graduated with B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD degrees from the University of Ibadan in 1976, 1983 and 1987 respectively. Professor Woods worked as a Graduate Assistant from 1982 to 1986 in the Department of Chemistry, University of Ibadan, Lecturer II at the Chemistry Department, University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (1988 – 1990). He was employed as Lecturer I in 1990 at the University of Ibadan and was promoted to a Professor in 2005. He has served the University in various committees like the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee, as well as former Chairman, University Undergraduate Admission Committee (formerly CMCRAE).
